The Indigenous people are different folk groups and descendants who have lived in an area before it became a state. They do not identify themselves with the majority in the country, and that has been a problem for them. Many of the people have also been chased and forced to be alike the majority in the country. Their living way has much to do with the nature, and they are also living in harmony with it. Today, it’s about 300 million people that are indigenous. In Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia they are called the Sami people, in New Zealand they are called the Maori people, in Australia they are called the Aborigines and in America they are called the Native Americans.
